Multidisciplinary Rehabilitation

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists treat a variety of musculoskeletal injuries and disabilities. The primary goal of physical therapy is to restore, maintain, and improve overall functionality through manual mobilization, exercise prescription, and therapeutic modalities.
Chiropractic
Chiropractors are regulated health professionals who diagnose and treat disorders related to the spine, pelvis, nervous system, and joints by using non-invasive, hands-on techniques. Following a thorough history and physical assessment, chiropractors provide a detailed plan of management and rehabilitation to reduce pain, restore joint range of motion, and prevent future mechanical dysfunction.
Registered Massage Therapy
Massage therapists use hands-on techniques to manipulate soft tissues and breakdown scar tissue to promote pain-free mobility after an injury. Therapeutic massage is also beneficial for those with chronic pain conditions and those experiencing emotional distress.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a peripheral nerve stimulation technique. Needles are inserted into acupuncture points of the body to alleviate pain, promote circulation, and restore neurological dysfunctions such as hormone imbalances and abnormal immune system activity.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists are healthcare professionals that develop a plan of management for those transitioning from hospital care to homecare. Occupational therapists are extensively trained to provide individuals with the skills to achieve productive, safe, and independent lives after injury or disability. These services include home accessibility and safety assessments based on individual needs, and techniques to achieve activities of daily living.
Psychological Counselling
Psychotherapists use psychological principles to treat physical, emotional, mental, and social disorders that impede day-to-day function. Psychotherapy is used to help individuals understand their behaviours, feelings, and thoughts in situations that cause distress. Goal-directed behaviour changes and coping strategies developed through counselling can better equip individuals with the confidence to regain control of their lives, enhance their mental health, and promote positive growth.
